In this Laguna Beach residence, the kitchen is designed as a central architectural element, both grounding the home and opening it to its surroundings. A richly toned island with fluted detailing introduces depth and texture, contrasted by sleek, dark cabinetry that recedes into the background. Floor-to-ceiling glass dissolves the boundary between inside and out, allowing light, landscape, and ocean air to become part of the experience.
