Project Details
Riverstone is a premier Houston-area master-planned community, that offers convenient commutes to Downtown, the Medical Center, and the Energy Corridor. The neighborhood is in Sugar Land, Texas, a historic area that grew up around sugar cane production and processing. From farming to the founding of Imperial Sugar Company to a thriving mini-metroplis, the area retains wide-open green spaces and the historic Imperial Sugar Refinery building, though closed in 2003 and now being redeveloped into retail space and residences.
Riverstone’s luxury homes and exceptional amenities draw families, retirees, and anyone looking for enjoying fine dining, excellent shopping, and nature. A variety of parks within Riverstone connected with trails enable residents to get out and enjoy the warm southeast Texas weather year-round while enjoying observing nature in the waterways and wetlands or exploring the many play structures. Even the family dog is catered to with a 3.5-acre park devoted to canine family members to romp off leash-free. The neighborhood’s pedestrian-friendly environment offers opportunities to enjoy life for residents in all phases of life.

The Kitchen
The refined, contemporary kitchen was designed for a couple who view their home as a space to host and celebrate. Their dream was a kitchen that can serve as the heart of the home—where a chef can cook and engage with guests while still feeling connected to the surrounding social areas. The result is an award-winning seamless blend of functionality and high design, where every element plays a role in elevating the experience of cooking, hosting, and simply being.
Visually, the kitchen balances contrast and warmth. The use of Taj Mahal quartzite anchors the space with a timeless elegance, its soft veining adding movement and depth. Paired with dark wood eggersmann cabinetry, the palette achieves a quiet luxury that feels grounded yet elevated. Integrated lighting, minimalist shelving, and a subtle brass accent system tie together the modern sensibility.
One of the most unique and heartfelt touches is the dedicated tea area, a beautifully curated space within the kitchen. As avid tea lovers, the clients wanted a ritual-ready station with everything at their fingertips—mugs, tea blends, infusers, sugar pots—making it both practical and a point of daily joy.
