Project Details
The Sanctuary of Boca Raton is a small private gated enclave of 97 custom luxury homes located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Boca Raton, Florida. The family-oriented community offers a 20-slip yacht marina, Har-Tru tennis courts, and a 27-acre wildlife preserve featuring large mangroves. The exceptional neighborhood is moments away from the legendary Boca Raton Resort & Club, world-class shopping and dining of Mizner Park, and the city’s private executive airport.
The area attracts prominent executives, celebrities, and business owners seeking to live securely and safely with their families. It is no surprise the prestigious community has made several Forbes lists including Top Ten Most Exclusive and Expensive Gated Communities and Best Private Golfing Community.
The Team
Ralph Edwards and the eggersmann Florida team are always excited to work with Susan LaChance Interior Design. They collaborated on this waterway home in the kitchen, laundry rooms, mudroom, gym, and garage. This magnificent 3-story intra-coastal home was built by National Custom Homes.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is enveloped in a calming palette of earthy greys, browns, and cream with a pop of white and softened metal accents. The vertical wood grain on the island and tall wall cabinets brings a depth into the otherwise mostly white and off-white space. The shimmer of the muted metal accents are reminiscent of the water glinting through the windows.
The thoroughly modern kitchen is full of surprises. The more you explore, the more interesting details emerge such as the floating island countertop and white wall cabinets inset into the windows. Other special features that deliver functionality while maintaining the minimal clean lines include a double pocket door, fully integrated refrigeration, and lift-up top cabinet fronts.
