Project Details
Montebello’s high-rise residences are amid Houston’s vibrant Uptown area with world class shopping and exceptional array of fine dining. With its central location between West Houston and downtown, the condos are near the business centers in Uptown, the Energy Corridor, and downtown as well as entertainment venues and top-rated medical facilities.
The 30-story building offers its residents access to a European style manicured courtyard with adjacent heated pool, sauna, state-of-the-art gym, clubhouse, party room, 24-hour security and concierge services, valet parking, secure underground parking (a bonus in the Texas heat), and stunning views of downtown and the surrounding coastal plains.
The Team
Anne Breux, interior architect, collaborated with Micky Nguyen of eggersmann Houston to design a new kitchen and living room with bar for this residence.
The Renovation
The homeowner was seeking a facelift for his kitchen and living room in his recently purchased high-rise residence in the Montebello. He enjoys collecting fine liquors and entertaining so integrating a bar into the living area was important. He wanted clean, modern lines with spaces to showcase his fine tastes at spirits and art.
The Kitchen
We agreed on an all-white kitchen with eggersmann’s Dallas gloss lacquer with soft edges in the kitchen.

The Bar
Warmer touches of Pembroke Oak wood decor were brought in on the bar and bar shelving with LED-lit display niches for his fine liquor collection.

The Living Room
The living room included a display console for sculptures below the television and a modular wall with with floating shelves for displaying more sculptures and floating credenza for ample storage.
