CUBIC Outdoor Living Factory Showroom at House Fair 2025
Our journey from Westphalia in western Germany to Bavaria in the southeast brought us to our outdoor cabinetry and furniture partner, CUBIC Outdoor Living. During Dealer Days, guests, clients, and distributors were welcomed into the new factory showroom, which opened in 2024, for an immersive look at the brand’s latest innovations and design capabilities.
The visit offered an exciting glimpse into the newest features, finishes, and collections, while highlighting the family owned company’s thoughtful craftsmanship and use of enduring outdoor materials.
C3 Mitered Monolithic Form
The C3 range is defined by its ceramic cladding, typically detailed with 10 mm gaps and hinged door configurations. This new special design made a dramatic refinement, reducing the joints to slim 5 mm lines and introducing fully mitered edges that visually wrap the ceramic around the form.
The open miter is intentionally engineered to allow water to pass through, supporting outdoor performance while creating an exceptionally minimal appearance. With no doors and only drawers, the result reads as a pure, monolithic block where material, proportion, and precision detailing take center stage.
Single Floating Bar
The floating bar is designed to transform in a single, effortless motion. A split counter glides forward to extend the worktop by up to 700 mm, supporting as much as 80 kg when fully extended and instantly creating a generous bar surface for gathering, serving, and entertaining. What reads as a composed, architectural volume becomes an interactive feature, expanding the space exactly when it is needed.
Beneath the moving surface, the bar conceals its working elements with intention. Sinks, teppanyakis, gas hobs, flat-lid grills, or even an invisible induction cooktop can be integrated into the design, with the ability to continue cooking while the counter is in motion. This floating bar demonstrates how performance, flexibility, and refined design can coexist within one seamless feature. It is also available in a double floating configuration.
