eggersmann kitchens and home living solutions are timeless, individual, and tend to stand alone; this is where 15 square comes in. The innovative grid system, exclusive to eggersmann, is designed for use in backsplashes, suspended structures from the ceiling, lift-up units on a kitchen islands, or room dividers.

15 square was named after the first iteration of the shelving/divider framework comprised of a grid with 15 cm sides and a 15 cm depth. The concept was to create a frame system to support a wide variety of applications such as room dividers, upstands on a countertop, and backsplash components. It provided a whole host of flexible solutions for our clients.

Then, we broke the grid enabling our clients not only to decide the application, but also, to customize the size of the individual elements. Now the squares can be any size of rectangle.

The installation of 15 square shelving on the countertop of an island or suspended from the ceiling can be used from two sides, which is ideal for cooking and preparing food for company. As a room divider or bookshelf, 15 square can be secured between ceiling and floor. You can even create backsplash storage and hide it with our motionV sliding doors. The possibilities are endless.

In addition to configuration customization, eggersmann offers accessories to create convenient and useful functionality including paper towel holders, spice rack holders, knife storage, herb boxes, and all kinds of different hooks and attachments for cooking utensils. This system gives you the option to keep your most used items out for easy access or to display favorite objects. The concept of using useful items as decorative elements creates a whole other concept of space usage.

The durable aluminum profile [in black or anodized] forms the basis of the system with the addition of smoked oak or light ash wood and choices of using various colors of glass.

Clients can design custom modules to display wine glasses, spice jars, knives, and treasures while adding useful features such as USB connections, power strips, and so much more. All the features and accessories are described in the 15 square brochure.
