Just across the Kansas border from Kansas City, Missouri, is the suburb of Leawood, a popular choice for families due to its low crime rate, quality schools, and many shopping and dining options. Though the area’s cost of living is lower than the national average, it is one of the wealthiest zip codes in Kansas. Many stunning homes benefit from the green, bucolic views that the wide, flat valleys and gently rolling hills and many forested areas provide.
The homeowners of this Leawood home were touring the Dallas Design District looking for inspiration for their new home. They stumbled into our eggersmann Dallas showroom. They had already ordered their cabinetry, but were highly impressed by the Schmalenbach media wall. The integrated fireplace, flip-down bar, and automated sliding TV mechanism intrigued them. They began calling it the James Bond wall. They decided they could not complete their home without a custom media wall of their own.
Interior designer, Olivia Ebert of Liv Interior Designs, and Tim Cunningham of Tim Cunningham Homes collaborated with eggersmann designer, Kegan Wilson to create a spy-worthy media wall for the homeowners’ living area.
