On October 15, 2025, the eggersmann Houston showroom hosted an evening that blended food, family, and design. Guests gathered to celebrate the release of our cookbook, Heirloom Flavors, and to kick off the AIA Home Tour weekend. The combined events honored both the art of cooking and the creativity that defines Houston’s design community.
Celebrating Heirloom Flavors
Before the main event, a select group of guests arrived for an intimate VIP hour that felt more like a private dinner among friends than a launch celebration. Chef Mate Zorrilla of FLORA prepared a tasting inspired by recipes from Heirloom Flavors, each dish reflecting heritage, storytelling, and the beauty of gathering around food. Between bites and conversation, guests shared memories of meals that shaped their own homes and families.
Every detail was intentional, from the presentation of the dishes to the atmosphere within the showroom’s luxury cabinetry displays. The scent of fresh ingredients and the soft hum of conversation filled the space, creating a connection between the elegance of design and the comfort of a shared meal.
