Festive Win: eggersmann & Montes Design
A Festive Day at eggersmann Houston: Holiday Wreath Competition Recap
On December 11th, eggersmann Houston opened its doors to the holiday spirit participating in the Decorative Center Houston’s Holiday Wreath Competition. Partnering with the talented interior designer Jacqueline Montes of Montes Design, we showcased a custom wreath that captured the essence of elegance and creativity.
The wreath, a true work of art, was crafted using wood veneer slices and leaf-shaped veneers, accented with greenery, holly berries, and pine cones. The genius backing was created with a large rattan base, adding both structure and style to the design.
The design center-wide event brought together the best of design and festive cheer, featuring incredible wreaths crafted by designer-showroom duos. Guests were invited to explore the Decorative Center Houston, enjoy sweet treats, soak in the festive atmosphere, and cast their votes for their favorite wreaths. Each creation was a testament to the artistry and vision of the Houston design community.
The Winner Announced
The excitement peaked at 3:30pm during a reception at the Arsin Rug Gallery, Suite 1000, as participants and event attendees gathered for announcement of the winning wreath. We were thrilled that eggersmann Houston and Jacqueline Montes of Montes Design won the competition! The creativity and elegance of the stunning wreath was noted as being part of the reason for earning top honor. The celebration continued with a toast, closing out the day with a shared appreciation for design, community, and the holiday season.
Giving Back
Adding a meaningful touch to the festivities, the event’s wreaths were auctioned off, with all proceeds benefiting The Salvation Army. This act of generosity added a layer of purpose to the celebration, reminding us of the importance of supporting those in need during the holiday season.
