A Kitchen Designed as Architecture
Located in Austin’s Commander’s Point neighborhood, the Octant House reflects a contemporary architectural language defined by clean geometry and material restraint. Designed by Matt Fajkus Architecture, the residence integrates cabinetry by eggersmann designer Gabriela Espinoza as part of the architecture itself. At the heart of the home, the kitchen continues that approach, with a restrained palette creating depth without excess. Embossed Fineline Sisal Black and Nano Black establish a quiet foundation, accented by aluminum and glass. Integrated appliances are seamlessly incorporated, reinforcing the kitchen as part of the architecture.
