Nina Magon, creative director and principal of Contour Interior Design, has a passion for exposing an international, forward-thinking approach to design. She says, “Design is incredibly vast through many parts of the world, yet in Texas we are mostly exposed to a “beige” way of design.”
The Texas Showhouse featuring an eggersmann kitchen and living area exemplifies her forward-thinking design style with a modern, international approach to traditional architecture. A collaborative effort with many designers, artists, and home solutions experts has turned a tarnished mansion into a true showhouse. To make this showhouse extra special, its design plan was reviewed and the remodeling completed by an expert of Vastu Shastra, a system of architecture that is similar to Feng Shui.
