Founded by Steven Colucci, the Westhampton Beach Project is a free annual event that brings a powerful blend of opera, ballet, and modern dance to the heart of Westhampton Beach. Held on the scenic Great Lawn, the event returns July 25 and 26, 2025, offering two evenings of unforgettable performances open to the public.
Curated with intention and artistry, the Westhampton Beach Project is more than a performance series. It is a celebration of creativity, community, and culture. Guests are invited to bring blankets, friends, and a love for the arts to enjoy this unique summer tradition.
Steven Colucci has been a longtime friend of the eggersmann USA family. About Steven Colucci
Steven Colucci is a renowned visual and performing artist whose work spans painting, pantomime, ballet, and haute couture design. Born in the South Bronx, he overcame early challenges with dyslexia and found his voice through art. After studying at the School of Visual Arts, he continued his training in Paris with movement legends Etienne Decroux and Marcel Marceau, who mentored him for over a decade.
Colucci’s multidisciplinary background informs his emotionally rich style, often inspired by movement, light, and water. He has collaborated with Alvin Ailey, Julio Iglesias, and the Royal Ballet of Flanders, and his artwork has been exhibited at major galleries including the National Arts Club and Mark Hachem Gallery in New York and Paris. His shift into fashion reflects his belief that couture is a natural fusion of all art forms.
